Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the frequently asked questions that are being asked. Click on one of the questions below to find out more. If you don't find the answer to your question here, please do get in touch.

Where is the school?

We currently operate on two sites. The primary setting and main administration is in La Soukra, at 49 Rue du Parc (shown in Google Maps).  Please contact us first if you would like to visit the school.

What classes do you have? How old are the children?

For the school year 2017/18 there are classes from Nursery to Year 9 (ages 3 to 13).  You can find more details of our classes here.  It is the school's intention to continue to add at least school year each calendar year (and so ensure children currently in the school can continue with the school).

Will you take my child?  He/she is X years old

We can only take children this year if they are the correct age at the start of September. You will find a list of classes and ages for the current school year here.  We will be adding one academic year each subsequent calendar year.

Can I register my child?

Yes, you can - if we still have places.  We normally need to assess a child before formally offering a place, there are assessment sessions run regularly.  You can find out about the admissions process online here, or by contacting the school.

Are the teachers British?

Teachers are British (or native/fluent English speakers familiar with the British curriculum), with Tunisian Teaching Assistants working alongside them.  The teaching assistants are all English speakers, and all discussion in class will be in English, unless a child is upset and unable to communicate in English.

Is there a school bus?

We will organise transport if there is enough parent demand for this.  Please contact administration if you are interested in school transport, to give them your details.

What are the plans for the future?

We are committed to growing the school by one class each year. We have recently opened a separate school building for secondary will continue with our plans to grow the school into the future.
